General Motors to develop self-driving cars in Canada

Generals Motors is on its way to design self-driving cars. It has announced to hire 1,000 engineers and software developers at its research facilities in Ontario near Toronto. In a press statement Mark Reuss, GM executive vice president of global product development stated, “With this recent expansion, GM Canada will play a prominent role in the evolution towards vehicles that are connected, autonomous, shared and electric.”
