Cape Town-based redPanda Software is rapidly growing and looking for experienced core java developers to join their team.

redPanda Software is an expert in the end-to-end development and support of customised applications aimed at streamlining business processes and operations.

The company began in 2009 and has since swiftly grown to a team of over 110 people.

“We cover the full spectrum, from Retail and Point of Sale, Property Management, Warehousing and Logistics to Debtor Control, Credit Granting and HR Management.

“We also have specialist skills for migrating legacy software,” says redPanda Software CEO Gareth Hawkey.

The company is still on an impressive growth curve, having recently completed a new deal with a global point of sale vendor based in the UK.

As a result, the company is looking to expand its team further with intermediate and senior Java developers who have at least 4 years’ experience.

“The UK point of sale vendor has big, blue-chip clients, which promises candidates the opportunity to skill up and work with modern technologies in the java environment,” Hawkey adds.

Candidates are offered travel opportunities since training takes place over 3 months in the UK, and developers will need to return annually for a month.
